A study via the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Customer Safety analyzed eight imported samples of 'Dubai chocolate', 5 from the UAE and three from Turkey. It found that all eight samples were considered "defective". Five from the products sampled contained fats aside from cocoa butter, which isn't permitted in items labelled "chocolate" in Germany.
